Paul Mainardi is a partner with the firm. His practice is concentrated in the areas as business transactions and business litigation in state and federal court including bankruptcy court.

Representative clients include:

  • National and community banks and private lenders including M&T Bank, Fulton Bank, 1st Colonial Community Bank, Capital Bank of New Jersey, TD Bank and Porter Capital Corporation;
  • Cooperative Business Assistance Corporation, a certified community development financial institution, and other non-profit organizations;
  • National and regional businesses, including Aqua America, Inc., Best Uniform, Inc., Parson Associates Electrical Contractors, Inc., and SAP America, Inc; and
  • Court-appointed receivers and individuals and entities in administration of trusts and decedents’ estates.

Mr. Mainardi’s practice includes:

  • Representation of lenders in loan and security transactions;
  • Representation of local and regional businesses in connection with entity formation, purchase and sale of assets, and business transactions and related Litigation;
  • Supervision of the firm’s creditor’s rights practice, including commercial collections, foreclosures and bankruptcy proceedings;
  • Representation of a major national business software company in bankruptcies of all of its software licensees;
  • Serving as court appointed receiver;
  • Formation of charitable foundations;
  • Successful representation of a major national bank in New Jersey Supreme Court proceedings examining mortgage lending practices of large mortgage lenders; and
  • Serving as executor, and trustee and attorney in fact, and providing representation in connection with trust and estate administration.

Mr. Mainardi is a founding trustee of the Tyler Clementi Foundation  and he negotiated agreements that created the Tyler Clementi Center at Rutgers University  and the Tyler Clementi Institute for CyberSafety at New York Law School.

Mr. Mainardi previously served as a member of the Executive Board of the New Jersey Child Placement Advisory Council, and the Child Placement Review Board of the Superior Court of New Jersey.

He is a performing member of the world renowned Philadelphia Boys Choir and Men’s Chorale and he currently serves as Chairman of its Board of Directors.
