Timothy E. Horn, Esquire is an associate with the firm. He concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, business planning, tax planning, estate planning, estate and trust administration and estate and trust litigation.
Mr. Horn has substantial litigation experience in both federal and state courts and has handled a variety of matters, including business and contractual disputes, Uniform Commercial Code claims, products liability defense and estate and trust proceedings involving will contests, undue influence, diminished capacity, estate and trust accounts and reformation and interpretation of trust documents.
As an estate planner, Mr. Horn provides sophisticated lifetime and end-of-life planning services geared towards preserving the wealth of individuals and families. He assists clients with:
- Preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney and advanced health care directives;
- Income, estate and gift tax planning;
- Estate and Trust administration;
- Gifting strategies involving the use of irrevocable trusts and other advanced planning techniques.
Mr. Horn is also knowledgeable with respect to elder law issues and has experience with Medicaid planning.
In addition, Mr. Horn possesses significant experience in business-related matters, including the formation and governance of limited liability companies and closely-held corporations, and has drafted various related documents such as operating agreements, bylaws, shareholders’ agreements and asset purchase agreements.
Mr. Horn counsels both entities and individuals. The entities include corporations, limited liability companies and institutions such as banks. The individuals include shareholders, LLC member, beneficiaries of estates and trusts, executors, trustees, surviving spouses and intestate heirs.
Mr. Horn is currently working towards his LL.M in Taxation.
