Christopher Campanaro is an associate with the firm and concentrates his practice in workers’ compensation defense matters. He is certified by the New Jersey as a Workers’ Compensation Attorney.
Mr. Campanaro began his career in 1994 in private practice where he successfully represented clients in all types of civil litigation including automobile accidents, medical malpractice, products liability, slip and fall accidents, Workers’ Compensation claims and Municipal Court.
Thereafter he joined Selective Insurance Company in 2000 as Staff Counsel as a Workers’ Compensation Associate. As a Staff Trial Attorney, his responsibilities included the defense of Workers’ Compensation claims throughout the State and in the Appellate Division. He is well versed in all areas of Workers’ Compensation claims including: Dependency Claims, Occupational Claims, Pulmonary Claims, Uninsured Employer Claims, the Going and Coming Rule, Jurisdictional Defenses and Total Disability Claims.
Mr. Campanaro worked on the seminal case of Huntoon v. Borough of Clementon wherein the Appellate Division upheld a defense verdict holding that continued employment does not toll the Statute of Limitations in occupational disease claims.
