Stephen R. Banks is an associate with the firm and concentrates his practice in the defense of workers’ compensation matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Banks served as a trial attorney and senior defense attorney with several firms and insurance carriers in New Jersey in a variety of practice areas, including workers’ compensation, personal injury, asbestos litigation, toxic tort, construction defect, subrogation, Medicare compliance, criminal defense, real estate, and municipal court matters.

Mr. Banks has been certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Workers’ Compensation Attorney since 2005. He has also been certified by Medicare in Medicare Compliance and Set Aside since 2019 and was selected as a New Jersey Super Lawyer in 2009.

Mr. Banks earned his Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude in Business Administration from Greenville University in 1993. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law in 1997.

Mr. Banks is admitted to practice in New Jersey. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Defense Association, including as Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Workers’ Compensation section.
