James P. Clancy
James P. Clancy is an associate with the firm. He concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, business transactions, and creditors’ rights, including claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, and various banking-related causes of action. Mr. Clancy has litigation experience in state and federal courts.
Mr. Clancy received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Rutgers University in 2015. He earned his law degree in 2019 from Rutgers University School of Law. While at Rutgers University School of Law, he acted as an Executive Editor for the Rutgers University Law Review. He participated in the Hunter Moot Court and served as a volunteer for the Income Tax Assistance program. He earned the Chancellor’s Award for Civic Engagement and the Blaine E. Capehart Award for Legal Writing Excellence. He was also a semi-finalist in the Hunter Moot Court in Spring, 2018.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Clancy served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Faustino J. Fernandez-Vina, Associate Justice for the Supreme Court of New Jersey and the Honorable Garry S. Rothstadt of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.
Mr. Clancy was admitted to practice in New Jersey in 2019 and in Pennsylvania in 2020.
