Eric E. Fingerman is a partner with the firm and concentrates his practice in defense of workers’ compensation. He assists William T. Freeman with managing the firm’s workers’ compensation defense practice group.
Mr. Fingerman has represented insurance carriers, county and municipal governments, self-insured employers, third party administrators and multiple school boards in the New Jersey Division of Workers’ Compensation since 2005. He has prepared and argued numerous workers’ compensation matters before the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division.
Mr. Fingerman was selected as a New Jersey “Rising Star” attorney in the field of Workers Compensation by Super Lawyers Magazine from 2012 thru2017.Mr. Fingerman was named an Awesome Attorney in the field of Workers Compensation by South Jersey Magazine and a Top 50 Attorney in the State of New Jersey by Attorney Intel for 2022.
Mr. Fingerman is a past lecturer for the National Business Institute and New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education in the areas of both Basic and Advanced Issues in Workers Compensation. Mr. Fingerman graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy in 1999. He earned his law degree in 2002 from Widener University School of Law where he was Copy Editor for the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law.
Mr. Fingerman was admitted to practice in New Jersey in 2002 and in Pennsylvania in 2003. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Mr. Fingerman is a member of the Atlantic and Camden County Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Justice James H. Coleman, Jr. Chapter of the American Inns of Court and the New Jersey Self Insurers’ Association.
