Jacob Schmidt is an associate with the firm and concentrates his practice in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, business transactions and planning, and real estate.

Mr. Schmidt earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Criminal Justice magna cum laude from Rutgers University in 2017. He earned his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Rutgers University School of Law in 2021. While in law school, Mr. Schmidt earned the Excellence in Oral Advocacy Award.

Mr. Schmidt served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jean S. Chetney, Chancery Division, Family Part, New Jersey Superior Court, Salem County, from 2021 to 2022. Thereafter, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Richard J. Geiger, New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division, from 2022 to 2023.

Mr. Schmidt is admitted to practice in New Jersey.  He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
