Michael J. DiPiero is a partner with the firm and concentrates his practice in commercial and labor and employment litigation. Mr. DiPiero specializes in management labor relations for both private and public sector employers, including collective negotiations, working conditions, employee disciplinary matters, labor grievance arbitrations, interest arbitration, tenure charges, mediation, unfair labor practice charges, plant closings and relocations, and employee engagement measures. In the public sector, Mr. DiPiero represents clients before the New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission, the Civil Service Commission, and the Department of Education. In the private sector, Mr. DiPiero represents clients before the National Labor Relations Board and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Mr. DiPiero has experience dealing with labor unions representing employees from all professions, including, for example, police and first responders, clerical employees, supervisory personnel, manufacturing employees, and employees in the building trades.

Mr. DiPiero graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a bachelor’s degree in 1996. He earned his law degree at Widener University School of Law in 2000 where he was a member of the Moe Levine Trial Advocacy Honor Society and a Staff Writer for the Widener Law Forum.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. DiPiero was an Assistant Prosecutor for the Camden County, New Jersey Prosecutor’s Office. He also served as a judicial law clerk for The Honorable Joseph M. Nardi, Jr. for the New Jersey Superior Court, Camden County.

Mr. DiPiero was admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in 2000. Mr. DiPiero is a member of the American, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Camden County Bar Associations, NJSBA Labor and Employment Section, and PASBA Labor and Employment Section.
