Shelly Melendez is an associate with the firm and concentrates her practice in labor and employment.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Melendez served honorably in the United States Army for several years and worked in private practice with a focus on labor and employment and premises liability defense.

Ms. Melendez earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California Los Angeles in 2006. She earned her Master of Education, Secondary Education, from Grand Canyon University in 2018. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law—Camden in 2022.

Ms. Melendez is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Ms. Melendez is a Co-Chair for the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Military Affairs Committee and an Assistant Co-Vice Chair for the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Military and Veterans Affairs Committee.
