As part of the Brown Bag Lunch Series, the “Insights into Federal Practice: Perspectives from the Bench and Bar” program on February 24, 2017 will feature panelists, Hon. Noel L. Hillman, Hon. Tambussi to Serve on Magistrate Selection Committee

William M. Tambussi has been selected by Chief Judge Jerome B. Simandle as one of eight members to serve on the Merit Selection Panel to consider the reappointment of U.S. Magistrate Judge Karen M. Williams, whose term is due to expire in April of this year. As part of this important process, Tambussi will consider comments received from members of the bar and the public, and participate in the determination of whether Magistrate Judge Williams should be recommended by the Panel for reappointment to a new eight year term by the Court. Tambussi previously served on the Merit Selection Panel in 2002.
