Gina M. Roswell is a partner with the firm and concentrates her practice in civil litigation on behalf of individuals, public entities, small businesses and large, international corporations. Her practice includes complex commercial and employment disputes, product liability claims, subrogation actions and personal injury matters.

Ms. Roswell has substantial litigation experience in both Federal and State courts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, handling a variety of matters, including contract and insurance disputes, product liability defense, fraud and deceptive practices, personal injury defense, insurance defense, employer/employee disputes and public entity subrogation and tort claims.

Jennifer A. Harris concentrates her practice in commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, real estate and bankruptcy matters. Ms. Harris has substantial litigation experience in both federal and state court. Aspects of her practice include the representation of individuals, businesses, and public entities in matters such as residential and commercial foreclosures, real estate transactions, contract litigation, and landlord tenant actions.

Eric E. Fingerman  concentrates his practice in defense of worker’s compensation. He assists William T. Freeman with managing the firm’s worker’s compensation defense practice group. Mr. Fingerman has represented insurance carriers, county and municipal governments, self-insured employers, third party administrators and multiple school boards in the New Jersey Division of Worker’s Compensation since 2005. He has prepared and argued numerous worker’s compensation matters before the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. Mr. Fingerman was selected as a New Jersey “Rising Star” attorney in the field of Worker’s Compensation by Super Lawyers Magazine from 2012-2017; a designation limited to no more than 2.5% of Attorneys in the State. He was also named a 2016 Awesome Attorney of South Jersey in the field of Worker’s Compensation by South Jersey Magazine. Mr. Fingerman is a lecturer in Basic Worker’s Compensation and Advanced Worker’s Compensation Issues for both the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education and National Business Institute.

Partner Shawn C. Huber won an appeal in New Jersey Transit Corp. v. Sanchez on December 4, 2018. A three-judge appellate panel held that the trial judge below erred in finding that New Jersey’s verbal threshold defense barred New Jersey Transit Corp.’s subrogation claim against a third party tortfeasor for workers’ compensation benefits paid to its employee. Huber argued that recent case law should be extended to permit New Jersey Transit Corp.’s claim and that the verbal threshold defense did not apply. The Appellate Division agreed in a landmark published decision that changes the law to substantially benefit employers in recovering such benefits.

Louis R.
